C*** went to the dentist this morning. Then I came to work and have absolutely no motivation to be here. Then again, I don’t have much motivation to go home and work on making the house all festive. No Xmas party this year for the first time since I moved in. I’m just not in the spirit all that much this year. Ugh.

I want to make a teacher mix to listen to on the way to school. All I can think of so far is  The Montessori Rap, some TMBG songs and “Fuck the Kids” by NOFX.

Obviously I need some help/ideas…?

I was going to answer in the answer box, but it didn’t give me enough space.

I would consider using kids christmas music.  It’s really cheerful and cute.

Any kind of School House Rock songs are really really cool!  You can find some indie bands that cover that kind of stuff too.

Of course TMBG is awesome.  I personally love the one that goes “the sun is a mass of incandescent gas…..”

Some girl group stuff from the 50s-60s is fun.  Locomotion is fun and kid like.

I love some of the older Disney soundtrack shit (Mary Poppins stuff, Sound of Music, Peter Pan crap, etc)

And that’s all I can think of.
